  Arrival and Fittings

Once the gowns arrives from the manufacturer our receiving department carefully checks it over. Then the bride is contacted to let her know of its arrival. That is when we request that you set up a time to do a "visit"

Visit

Is when the bride comes in and tries on her own gown. At this point in time we will help determine what is going to need to be done in alterations. As well, we do all accessorizing with veils, jewellery and shoes.

Fittings

It is the bride's responsbility to contact The Bridal House and set up fittings. We like to have 12 weeks for alterations. It is normal to have 2 fittings and a pick up date. Communication with the fitting consultants is key to the successful completion of your wedding gown. We try and make it as stress free as possible.

Please note:
ALTERATIONS ARE AN ADDITONAL CHARGE

Choosing Your Gown

Wedding gowns are not "ready" made.
Depending on the designer and where the factories are, it may take anywhere from
4 - 6 months to get a wedding gown.
Gowns can be discontinued at any point in time. Once you find your dream gown we recommend that you order it as it could be discontinued and we want to avoid any disappointment.

Measurements

Once you have found your dress and made the decision to order, a trained consultant will take careful measurements to help ensure the best possible fit. We will recommend a size, but the choice
is always the bride's and her responsibility.

Gowns are not custom made and alterations are usually always required.
